"In the Arena" began as a daily reminder and a mindset that I held onto while working as an engineer in the corporate world. Day after day, sitting in my cubicle, I felt a deep desire for something more. I had big dreams of success and making a meaningful impact, but my current path offered nothing but an average existence.
One day, I heard Theodore Roosevelt's famous speech on a podcast: âIt is not the critic who counts; not the man who points out how the strong man stumbles, or where the doer of deeds could have done better. The credit belongs to the man who is actually in the arena.â This resonated deeply with me. It became clear that to achieve my dreams, I needed to step out of the 9-5 grind and into the arena of life.
This mindset of daily perseverance and incremental progress became my mantra. Every day, I committed to stepping "In the Arena."
I began by focusing on personal development, enhancing my fitness, nutrition, and mindset. I consumed business and entrepreneurial podcasts, read books on success, and diligently prepared myself for the leap. Although I wasnât sure which field I wanted to pursue, I knew that developing a business mindset was crucial for seizing future opportunities.
My passion for helping others led me to start coaching people for free, particularly in fitness. This side hustle grew into a true passion and my pathway out of the corporate world. In 2023, I left my engineering career behind, and "In the Arena" was born.

Later that year, my commitment to the "In the Arena" mindset was tested. Just nine months after quitting my stable career to pursue my business dreams, I had a stroke and wound up in the hospital. In the ER, doubts flooded my mind. Would I recover fully? Could I stay as active as I wanted? But I refused to listen to those doubts. I knew that I needed the "In the Arena" mindset more than ever. Lifeâs circumstances are often beyond our control, but our response to them is within our power. I decided to fight to be 1% better every day and rebuild myself.
Now, fully recovered, our mission remains strong.
